Abstrak
This research analyzes Acts 7 through Paul Ricoeur's relational hermeneutic approach, focusing on Stephen's sermon. This method emphasizes the importance of narratives and stories in shaping our identity and understanding of the world. Stephen's narrative, which traces the history of the Israelites and patterns of rejection of God's messengers, is analyzed to understand how this text shaped identities and relationships within early Christian communities. The research results show that this narrative is relevant for today's faith communities, providing a framework for dialogue and conflict resolution and inspiring integrity and courage in facing challenges of faith. The interaction between text and reader allows these narratives to live on and provide new insights for each generation. This research confirms that biblical texts can provide guidance and inspiration relevant to the life and relationships of faith communities in the modern era. Through his courage and faith, Stephen's story is an example for all of us in seeking truth and justice in our daily relationships.
