Abstract

Euthanasia is a deliberate medical action to end life to relieve unbearable suffering, divided into active and passive euthanasia. This issue has sparked fierce debate in society, especially from the perspective of Christian ethics, which affirms life as a gift from God and rejects actions that intentionally end life. Education about euthanasia from the perspective of Christian ethics is given to Christian students community at SMAN 74 Jakarta to provide a solid theological and ethical foundation. Implementation methods include presentations, group discussions, and case studies, while research methods use a descriptive qualitative approach with interviews, observations, and document analysis. Results showed increased understanding and changes in students' attitudes towards euthanasia, with a focus on palliative care as an ethical alternative. This program develops students' critical thinking skills and prepares them to participate in public discussions on bioethical issues with strong arguments consistent with Christian teachings. This education is expected to shape students' character and moral beliefs and emphasize the importance of respecting human dignity and the value of life in all situations.
