Strategi Pastoral Menghadapi Problem Keharmonisan Pasangan Suami Istri di GBI Eben Heazer

Abstract
Households must experience disharmony because of differences in opinions and views between family members. If the family conflict has not resolved immediately, the problem will become more severe until the divorce. Therefore, it is essential to find the right strategy to overcome disharmony in the family. This study aims to determine the role of pastoral counseling in helping household harmony and the factors that become obstacles. To achieve this goal, the research method used is qualitative. The place of research is at the GBI Eben Haezer Church, Wahid Hasyim. The results of the study indicate that the role of pastoral counseling is as follows: guiding each counselee by providing biblical advice about married life, fostering counselees to experience spiritual growth, restoring any inner wounds experienced by counselees. While the factors constraining household harmony are problems of poor communication between spouses and other family members, problems of infidelity between partners, and the destructive impact of parents on children.
