MEMBANGUN HARAPAN BARU: STRATEGI KONSELING PASTORAL DALAM MENDAMPINGI PECANDU NARKOBA

This research explores the relationship between Christian faith and business practices through The problem of drug abuse, which is a significant global issue, including in Indonesia. This research explores the effectiveness of pastoral counseling strategies in assisting drug addicts, with a focus on a holistic approach that includes spiritual and emotional support. Qualitative research methods with a case study approach were used to collect data through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis from several churches. The research results show that pastoral counseling that integrates a holistic approach, family support, and a structured recovery program can help people with an addiction find new hope and speed up the recovery process. The main challenges identified include a lack of specialized training for counselors and social stigma towards drug addicts. Recommendations include intensive training for pastoral counselors, congregational education to reduce stigma, and developing ongoing support programs and inclusive policies in churches. This research emphasizes the importance of collaboration between various elements in the church community to create a supportive and effective environment for recovering drug addicts.
