Through qualitative methods and a hermeneutic approach, this study analyzes 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 and related theological literature to understand the meaning and practice of Holy Communion. The results show that Holy Communion, besides strengthening the faith and spiritual unity of the congregation, also acts as a catalyst for social change. Active participation in Holy Communion encourages the congregation to increase their care for others and involvement in the church's social activities. Inclusive and participatory practices in Holy Communion strengthen community solidarity and attachment, creating a supportive environment that motivates the congregation to contribute more to the church's mission. The deep spiritual reflection during this rite also plays a role in transforming the spiritual and social life of the congregation, making Holy Communion a significant agent of change in the postmodern era. This study concludes that a relevant and profound understanding of Holy Communion can empower the congregation and help the church face the challenges of the postmodern era more effectively.
