PENDAMPINGAN PASTORAL TRAUMA-INFORMED TERHADAP PEMUDA KRISTEN YANG MENGALAMI LUKA BATIN AKIBAT PENOLAKAN KELUARGA

Abstract
This article develops a constructive pastoral-theological argument on pastoral accompaniment for Christian youth who experience inner wounds caused by family rejection. This study argues that family rejection should not be treated merely as interpersonal disappointment, moral failure, or a spiritual problem solved by quick advice. It is better understood as a relational injury that affects attachment, self-worth, theological imagination, agency, and ecclesial belonging. Using a qualitative constructive literature review and pastoral-theological reflection, the article synthesizes pastoral counseling studies, trauma-informed care, social rejection research, religious coping, and practical theology. The analysis criticizes reductionist pastoral approaches that spiritualize suffering, pressure premature forgiveness, or force reconciliation without safety. The article proposes the PASTORAL-RESTORE framework: Presence, Assessment, Safety, Truth-telling, Oriented lament, Referral, Agency, Love-shaped belonging, Relational boundaries, Ecclesial accountability, Spiritual reconstruction, Theological hope, Ongoing accompaniment, Reconciliation discernment, and Evaluation. The contribution is a trauma-informed and theologically accountable model for churches, pastoral counselors, youth leaders, and theological schools.
