Abstract
Abstract
This research examines the integration of Dalihan Na Tolu values ??in the theology of Christian friendship, its impact on the quality of relationships between congregations, and the effectiveness of church services among the Batak community. The values ??of somba marhula-hula, elek marboru, and manat mardongan tubu were identified as critical elements that enrich the practice of Christian friendship, creating a more inclusive and harmonious church community. The results of participatory observations and interviews with church leaders show increased mutual respect, trust, and solidarity among the congregation. In addition, combining these values ??encourages increased congregational participation in church activities, strengthens ministry teams, and increases the relevance of church programs. This research emphasizes the importance of a multidisciplinary approach that combines theology, anthropology, and sociology to understand and apply local cultural values ??in church services. By integrating the values ??of Dalihan Na Tolu, the church can provide more contextual and practical services and pave the way for developing a more inclusive contextual theology. In conclusion, this integration significantly improves the quality of relationships between congregations, the effectiveness of church services, and the relevance of theology in the local cultural context.
