TEOLOGI RATAPAN DAN PEMULIHAN: PENDEKATAN TEOLOGIS TERHADAP RASA DUKA DALAM KEHIDUPAN KRISTEN

Abstract
This research explores the theology of lament and recovery in Christian life, focusing on hermeneutic approaches and inner healing. Analysis of the Books of Lamentations, Psalms, and Isaiah shows that the Bible provides space for expressing deep emotions such as sadness, despair, and loss and offering hope through God's promise of restoration. Experiences of inner healing in a pastoral context, through in-depth interviews, show that lament plays an essential role in the emotional and spiritual healing process. Community support in pastoral groups and counseling sessions strengthens feelings of solidarity and supports faster recovery. Practical implications include adopting a more open approach to expressions of lament in the church, training for church leaders, and developing ongoing pastoral programs. Churches also need to work with mental health professionals to provide comprehensive support. The results of this research provide a practical contribution to developing a pastoral theology that is responsive to the suffering of the people and holistically supports their emotional and spiritual health.
