Studi Teologi Kontekstual terhadap pemberian Ulos dalam pernikahan adat Batak

Abstract
A believer's responsibility is to God is to respond to His calling based on His Word, which is to preach the gospel. Of course, when preaching the gospel, they will be faced with the culture and local wisdom of the tribe being addressed, including when preaching to the Batak Toba, especially Mangulosi, Boras Sipirni Tondi, and Somba Marhula-hula—seeing the historical fact that the three traditions cannot be separated from the spiritual to Ompu Mula Jadi Nabolon. By looking at this fact, rejecting these three traditions is an effort to prevent syncretism from occurring. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research related to the description of the Toba Batak marriage tradition to the Bible and the description of the truth values ??of the Bible to the Toba Batak marriage tradition. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results show that the three Toba Batak traditions can be contextualized strictly, and there is no syncretism.
