In the era of disruption, the church faces significant challenges in maintaining and increasing congregational growth. Theological education is significant in forming church leaders who can face change with solid determination. This study explores how theological education can be designed to develop determination among theology students, which includes perseverance, enthusiasm for learning, and the ability to overcome difficulties. This literature analysis identifies critical elements in effective curricula and teaching methods, such as active, contextual, and project-based learning and mentoring programs. The results of this study confirm that strong determination can increase the adaptability and effectiveness of church leaders in facing contemporary challenges. Practical recommendations for theological institutions are also presented to improve the quality of education, including integrating elements that build determination in the curriculum and teaching methods. Thus, theological education designed to build determination can contribute significantly to sustainable and relevant church growth in a changing society.
