Screening for Plagiarism Policy
DIEGESIS: Jurnal Teologi is committed to maintaining academic integrity and ensuring that all published manuscripts are free from plagiarism, duplicate publication, and other forms of academic misconduct.
All manuscripts submitted to the journal will undergo a plagiarism screening process before entering the peer review stage. The editorial team may use plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin, iThenticate, or similar tools to evaluate the originality of submitted manuscripts.
Manuscripts must demonstrate originality in ideas, arguments, analysis, interpretation, and scholarly contribution. Authors are required to properly cite and reference all sources used in the manuscript, including books, journal articles, online resources, biblical interpretations, theological concepts, and other scholarly works.

• Manuscripts with an acceptable similarity level may proceed to the editorial review and peer review process.
• Manuscripts with moderate similarity may be returned to the author for revision and similarity reduction.
• Manuscripts with a high similarity index or clear evidence of plagiarism will be rejected.
• Manuscripts containing copied material without proper citation will not be processed further.
• Repeated plagiarism or unethical submission practices may result in restrictions or bans on future submissions to the journal.
