IDENTIFIKASI CULTURAL AWARENESS DALAM KONSELING LINTAS BUDAYA DENGAN BERBASIS INCLUSIVE CULTURAL EMPATHY (ICE) BAGI SISWA/I DI NUSA TENGGARA TIMUR

Cultural Awareness tidak hanya mengurangi ketidaktahuan dan ketakutan yang mungkin dimiliki konselor terhadap konseli sebagai kelompok budaya lain, tetapi mendorong generasi baru konselor dengan potensi Inclusive Cultural Empathy untuk menghasilkan pendekatan konseling inklusif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi kondisi faktual Cultural Awareness dan menganalisis gambaran model faktual konseling lintas budaya di sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Mix Methods Research. Data kuantitatif menunjukkan bahwa 60% Guru Bimbingan Konseling memiliki Cultural Awereness rendah, 25,7% berada pada kategori sedang dan 14,3% berada pada kategori tinggi. Model faktual konseling lintas budaya yang dilaksanakan di sekolah menampilkan unsur penerimaan yang belum sampai pada hubungan emosional budaya sehingga empati budaya tidak tercapai. Akibatnya timbul perasaan negatif dalam diri konseli akibat bias budaya yang dilakukan oleh Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling.
