MEMBANGUN KESADARAN ETIS DALAM MENGUNGGAH FOTO BERPAKAIAN DI SOSIAL MEDIA KEPADA SISWA SMPN 147 JAKARTA

Abstract

This community service was conducted at SMP Negeri 147 Jakarta to increase Christian students' ethical awareness of uploading dressed photos on social media. Teenagers' use of social media, especially Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, has shown a significant increase and needs to be accompanied by an adequate understanding of ethics. This activity aims to teach Christian ethics based on Biblical teachings, emphasizing that the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, which must be protected and respected. Class VII and VIII students were invited to understand the importance of maintaining ethics in dressing and posting on social media through case study discussions, presentations, and testimonials. The activity results show that students realize the importance of glorifying God with their bodies and using social media wisely. This service received a positive response from students and teachers, demonstrating the effectiveness of the teaching approach implemented. Hopefully, this activity can positively contribute to forming students' ethical mindset and behavior in using social media in the future, helping them become more responsible and ethically aware social media users.
