Pneumata: Journal of Community Service is committed to maintaining academic integrity, originality, and ethical standards in scholarly publishing. Therefore, every submitted manuscript will undergo a plagiarism screening process before entering the peer review stage and prior to publication.

The journal only accepts manuscripts that are original works of the authors and have not been previously published or submitted to another journal for consideration. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all sources, quotations, data, figures, tables, and ideas derived from other works are properly acknowledged and cited according to academic standards.

To detect potential plagiarism, the editorial team may use plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin, iThenticate, or similar tools. All submitted manuscripts may be screened to assess their originality and ensure compliance with publication ethics.

Practices considered plagiarism include, but are not limited to:

  1. Copying part or all of another person's work without proper citation;
  2. Using another person's ideas, data, or research findings without appropriate acknowledgment;
  3. Paraphrasing material without citing the original source;
  4. Self-plagiarism, including the reuse of previously published work without proper disclosure;
  5. Duplicate publication or simultaneous submission of the same manuscript to more than one journal.

If plagiarism is suspected or detected, the editor reserves the right to request clarification, require revisions, reject the manuscript, or retract a published article depending on the severity of the violation.

Through this policy, Pneumata: Journal of Community Service seeks to ensure that all published articles maintain high academic quality, originality, and scientific credibility.
