The transformation of church ministry through data management remains a challenge for many churches, including Gereja Bethel Indonesia (GBI) Jakarta. The continued reliance on manual congregation data management hampers the effectiveness of ministry and strategic decision-making. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of an interactive lecture approach in raising congregational awareness regarding the importance of data management. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method, collecting data through participatory observation, group discussions, and participant surveys. Findings reveal that the interactive lecture approach significantly increased congregational understanding by 48%, with 85% of participants stating that the material was relevant and easy to understand. Furthermore, 80% of participants committed to initiating the implementation of data management systems in their church ministries. The adoption of digital recording systems has proven to enhance the effectiveness of pastoral ministry, optimize church programs, and increase congregation engagement. This study concludes that participatory-based education is key to establishing a new paradigm in church data management.
