Abstract

This research aims to explore the influence of Christian religious education on students' understanding of biomedical ethics, especially in the context of organ transplantation, at SMA Agape BK3 Tangerang. By involving 30 students in grades X and XI, this program uses an educational approach and group discussions to explore their ethical perspectives. The results show that Christian values??, such as love, sacrifice, and respect for the body as God's creation, play a significant role in shaping students' views on organ transplantation. Group discussions and in-depth interviews revealed that students viewed organ transplantation as a manifestation of Christian love but also emphasized the importance of donor consent and fairness in organ allocation. Christian religious education at this school encourages students to think critically about biomedical ethical issues, helping them understand the complexity of ethical dilemmas and preparing them to make moral and responsible decisions. This research suggests the importance of integrating religious values ??in education, further training for religious educators, and collaboration with medical institutions to provide a deeper understanding of biomedical ethics.
