Abstract

The mental health of Christian adolescents is an important focus in the context of individual and community development. One of the issues that has come under the spotlight is nomophobia, or cell phone addiction, which can interfere with sleep quality, social interaction, and emotional well-being. From the perspective of Christian ethics, the use of technology should be wise and respect moral values. This study examined the prevalence of nomophobia among Christian adolescents of SMA Negeri 13 Jakarta using a mixed method, showing that most adolescents show signs of nomophobia. Strategies to address this problem include continuing education, the development of a special curriculum, and support from families and church communities, with the aim of developing healthy habits in the use of technology and strengthening positive social relationships in accordance with Christian values.
