About the Journal
Pneumata: Journal of Community Service is a scholarly journal dedicated to publishing community service articles, community engagement reports, and applied academic works that contribute to community development and social transformation. The journal serves as an academic platform for lecturers, students, researchers, pastors, church workers, educators, and practitioners to publish the outcomes of community service activities conducted in religious, educational, theological, pastoral, and interreligious contexts.
In line with the spirit of Servire cum Virtute Spiritus Sancti (“to serve with the power of the Holy Spirit”), Pneumata views community service as a practical expression of the integration of faith, knowledge, social concern, and humanitarian responsibility. The journal encourages the publication of impactful community service activities that support education, empowerment, ministry, mentoring, and community development.
Pneumata: Journal of Community Service is published twice a year, in May and November. All submitted manuscripts undergo editorial screening and peer review to ensure academic quality, relevance, and meaningful contributions to community development.
