Authors intending to submit manuscripts to Pneumata: Journal of Community Service must follow the guidelines below to ensure consistency in format and quality of published articles.

  1. General Requirements
  • Manuscripts must be original works resulting from community service activities and must not have been previously published or under consideration elsewhere.
  • Articles may be written in either Indonesian or English.
  • Manuscripts must be relevant to the journal’s focus and scope.
  • All submissions will undergo editorial screening and peer review before publication decisions are made.
  1. Article Structure

Community service manuscripts should be organized as follows:

  • Title
  • Author Name(s)
  • Author Affiliation(s)
  • Corresponding Author Email
  • Abstract (Indonesian and English)
  • Keywords (3–5 keywords)
  • Introduction
  • Methods
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Acknowledgements (optional)
  • References
  1. Title
  • The title should be clear, specific, and reflect the content of the community service activity.
  • The recommended title length is no more than 20 words.
  1. Abstract and Keywords
  • Abstracts must be provided in both Indonesian and English.
  • Abstract length should be 150–250 words.
  • The abstract should briefly describe the background, objectives, methods, results, and impact of the activity.
  • Include 3–5 relevant keywords.
  1. Manuscript Format
  • Manuscripts must be prepared using Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx).
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt.
  • Line spacing: 1.5.
  • Paper size: A4.
  • Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides.
  • Article length should be between 5,000–8,000 words, including tables, figures, and references.
  1. Tables and Figures
  • Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively and provided with clear titles.
  • Data sources must be acknowledged when applicable.
  • Figures should be of sufficient quality for publication.
  1. Citation and References
  • Citations and references must follow the latest edition of APA Style.
  • Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.
  • At least 80% of references should be derived from relevant primary sources published within the last 10 years.
  1. Publication Ethics
  • Manuscripts must be free from plagiarism, data fabrication, and data falsification.
  • Authors must comply with all journal publication ethics policies.
  • Any conflicts of interest must be disclosed to the editor.
  1. Manuscript Submission
  • Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s Open Journal Systems (OJS).
  • Authors must ensure that all article metadata are completed accurately.
  • Manuscripts that do not comply with these guidelines may be returned for revision before entering the review process.
