Abstrak

This article is a literature study that describes the concept of spirituality of marriage in Christian views and teachings. To explain this, the authors present various information from primary and secondary sources related to the research topic which is then presented descriptively. From the research conducted, Christian marriage spirituality is important and urgent to be built and developed by Christian families in order to be able to face and respond to various challenges / conflicts in the family. There are values of Christian spirituality that must exist in married life, among others; marriage is a unity, marriage is a covenant, marriage is the sovereignty of God in His creation, marriage is a relationship of love and marriage is a gift of God with the principle of monogamy. One of the causes of a broken relationship in marriage is divorce. Divorce can occur if the Christian family does not understand and does not live spiritually in his marriage.
