BERADAPTASI DENGAN PANDEMI: MENELISIK ARAH PELAYANAN GEREJA KE DEPAN

Terjadinya pandemi Covid-19 telah mengubah total kehidupan umat manusia di semua aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam ibadah dan pelayanan. Ibadah virtual kini telah menjadi bagian dari kehidupan kerohanian gereja sebagai umat Tuhan. Melalui tulisan ini penulis hendak mengulas tentang plus minus pelaksanaan ibadah virtual untuk kemudian mengajukan usulan tentang bagaimana sebaiknya gereja dapat meningkatkan pelayanannya. Penelitian ini dilakukan memakai metode kualitatif studi pustaka dengan mengumpulkan berbagai referensi yang membahas tentang pelaksanaan ibadah virtual selama pandemi. Mengingat pandemi sudah berlangsung berbulan-bulan, gereja perlu memproyeksikan pelayanan digital sebagai program utama pelayanan (bukan lagi sebagai alternatif sementara atau hanya pelengkap) dan siap untuk dalam pelayanan sosial sebagai wujud kasih kepada Tuhan dan sesama.
