Abstrak

antaranya mengarah pada konflik dan hubungan yang kompleks sehingga memengaruhi banyak pihak secara negatif. Dalam tulisan ini, penulis mengamati budaya dalam konteks suku Batak yang menjadi salah satu akar permasalahan dalam konflik keluarga. Tulisan ini mencoba untuk melihat pengaruh dari budaya yang dirasa selama ini memiliki peran signifikan dalam memunculkan konflik antar pihak dan menjadi rintangan untuk mencapai pemulihan hubungan. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dalam proses konseling pastoral. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konflik dalam keluarga suku Batak dapat ditengahi dengan pemahaman yang komprehensif terhadap suku Batak. Dengan pemahaman yang khas, maka konflik dapat diselesaikan dengan baik.
