EDUKASI STRATEGI TEOLOGI BERTAHAN DI GBI PONDOK GEDE PLAZA DALAM MENGHADAPI COVID-19
Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected various aspects of life, including religious activities. This study analyzes the resilient theology strategies implemented by Gereja Bethel Indonesia (GBI) Pondok Gede Plaza during the pandemic to maintain the spiritual engagement of its congregation and strengthen community solidarity. Using a qualitative descriptive-analytical approach, this research explores the church's adaptations through online worship, relational community strengthening, and biblical literacy. Online worship leveraged digital technology such as Zoom and YouTube to expand the scope of ministry and create relevant spiritual experiences. Programs like online prayer groups, virtual counseling, and food distribution successfully enhanced congregation solidarity. Biblical literacy helped the congregation understand the pandemic from a faith perspective, overcome fear, and build hope. The findings reveal that this holistic approach was effective in maintaining the church's relevance during the crisis and can serve as a model for future ministry. This research emphasizes the importance of the church as a faith community that responds proactively to global challenges.
