Abstract

Gotong royong is a good tradition and has been ingrained in the Indonesian nation and has been going on for generations. However, in this context, gotong royong is minimal or if it is done without deep meaning. Therefore, it is necessary to educate Christians about the essence of gotong royong. The purpose of this community service is to educate the GPdI Pedan congregation about the importance of gotong royong in the church community and the general public. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. While the implementation method used is education and training. The results showed that the tradition of gotong-royong has been attached to the congregation at GPdI Pedan and must be interpreted correctly. What is unique here is that the congregation is very enthusiastic or very enthusiastic when working together in the church, both adult and youth congregations. The form of his service is cleaning the church, repairing and beautifying the church, preparing for celebration services and so on. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find out what values of faith make the congregation enthusiastic about working together at GPdI Pedan. The value of faith that makes the congregation enthusiastic about working together at GPdI Pedan is caused by the congregation's love for God, the role of the pastor as a leader administrator, and a sense of belonging to the church.
