PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PAKEM UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL PEMBELAJAR PENDIDIKAN AGAMA KRISTEN DI SMP KRISTEN PALANGKARAYA

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the description, implementation and impact of the application of the PAKEM learning model to improve the learning outcomes of Palangka Raya Christian Middle School students in grades VIII-I. The background of this research is the low learning outcomes of students in the class. These students several times in learning the PAKEM learning model was applied. This research uses a class action research method and in it there are data collection techniques through observation, tests and documentation. In this study, the researcher was directly involved in the classroom action process, namely as a teacher who taught and assessed learning outcomes in PAK learning. The sample set was students of class VIII-I of Palangka Raya Christian Middle School, Central Kalimantan, totaling 18 people. In the implementation of this study using the Class Action Research method, carried out in 2 cycles, in each cycle divided into four stages namely, planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. The research data were analyzed using comparative descriptive, which was then continued by using reflection. Comparative descriptive is done by comparing the initial condition data, cycle I and cycle II to see student learning outcomes. The results of this study indicate that the use of the PAKEM learning model in the teaching and learning process can improve learning outcomes in Christian Religious Education Class VIII-I at Palangka Raya Christian Middle School, Central Kalimantan. It is proven that the percentage of student learning outcomes that are carried out in writing has increased from 77.61 in the initial condition to 91.22 in the final condition, meaning an increase of 13.61. The percentage of students who finished studying increased from 22.22% to 88.89%, meaning an increase of 66.67%
